The Technology Commercialization team at USC Stevens is responsible for the management and commercialization of USC owned technologies which result from the more than $687 million dollars invested in research each year. USC Stevens strives to identify qualified business partners with the expertise, commitment, and resources to commercialize university technologies. The team structures license terms that meet the business needs of our partner, ensure the commercial development of the USC technology, and provide a fair return to the inventors and the university to support continued research and commercialization activities.

Coulter Translational Research Partnership Program

The Coulter process begins with early engagement with technology transfer representatives from the USC Stevens Center and with Program consultants to help de-risk projects though intellectual property and market analysis, and early identification and engagement with potential partners with financing and product commercialization capabilities. This process is key to attracting professional investment to technology solutions so that they can be successfully commercialized and reach the patients who need them. We also offer connections to local law firms and free legal office hours.
